The incident occurred near Akhun Dheri on Hari Chand Road, within the jurisdiction of Umarzai police station. The bomber detonated his explosives near the police mobile as it conducted its routine patrol.

However, the police officers inside the vehicle remained unharmed.

While the police van sustained minor damage, the lack of traffic in the area prevented any civilian casualties. The bomber detonated his explosives shortly after the police mobile passed. The explosion was heard across a wide area.

Following the blast, a large contingent of police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Police have collected the remains of the suicide bomber and the motorcycle for investigation.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident and determining the motives behind the attack.
