In Nikopol, a frequent target of Russian shelling, artillery fire killed two individuals and injured five, according to regional governor Serhiy Lysak via the Telegram messenger app. He noted that a medical facility, a café, and several shops were damaged in the attack.

In Kryvyi Rih, a woman’s body was recovered from the rubble of a residential building hit by a missile.

Lysak indicated that her three children might still be trapped inside. Earlier, he reported that at least 14 people were injured, including a 10-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy.

The missile strike severely damaged apartments from the first to the fifth floors, with images shared by officials showing a shattered roof and collapsed floors shrouded in smoke.

“Every day, every night, Russia unleashes the same terror. Increasingly, civilian targets are being hit. Russia’s sole aim is to prolong the war, and each of its strikes undermines any claims of diplomacy,” President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated on X.

He also issued a new appeal to allies for increased weapons supplies and “stronger global support” to counter Russian aggression.
