Chief Justice Yahya Khan Afridi has restructured the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) committee previously formed by former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

In August 2024, former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa had reconstituted a task force for alternative dispute resolution.

A notification issued by the Law and Justice Commission on July 22nd removed Justice Mansoor Ali Shah from the task force, with Justice Yahya Khan Afridi subsequently appointed as the committee’s head.

The committee also included Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Shahid Waheed.

Chief Justice Afridi has now reorganized the committee, appointing the senior-most Supreme Court judge, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, as the new chairman of the ADR committee.

Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Shahid Waheed will remain as members. Copies of the notification have been sent to all relevant officials.
