&lt;p&gt;According to a statement released by the jail superintendent, 235 men and 5 women were arrested in connection with the protests.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The prisoners were brought to Adiala Jail on judicial remand, but due to a lack of capacity, they were subsequently transferred to Attock District Jail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Jail officials confirmed that Adiala Jail currently holds no other inmates awaiting trial and that a notification regarding the transfer has been issued.&lt;/p&gt;
