Iman Fatima, originally from Gujranwala, reportedly tried to cut her jugular vein on Sunday and was saved by fellow nursing students.

According to Tahira Sagheer, the Director General of Nursing Punjab, the student has faced verbal abuse and character assassination from the principal for the past six months.

Iman has submitted a formal complaint to the Secretary of Health, seeking action against the principal. A hearing regarding the allegations is set to take place today.

Iman alleged that the principal’s behavior was not isolated to her, stating that similar treatment was directed at other female students.

She expressed distress over the lack of communication from college administration regarding her injury, noting they did not inform her parents or allow them to visit her.
