The KP Environmental Protection Agency Deputy Director, Habib, announced that these sites have been identified as sensitive to climate change, with pollution significantly impacting their integrity.

He confirmed that the ban on plastic will be enacted soon, alongside a proposal to charge fees for vehicles entering these popular locations.

The revenue generated will be allocated for initiatives aimed at preventing environmental pollution.

He further revealed that a comprehensive strategy has been developed under the guidance of the Chief Minister’s Environmental Protection Council, with plans to initiate action in collaboration with local district administrations.
