The Islamabad Blood Transfusion Authority and the Human Organ Transplant Authority will be merged with the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority, leading to a significant reduction in staff.

This decision follows the earlier announcement regarding the dissolution of the Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), which will be merged into the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The administrative functions of SAFRON will be discontinued, and a special committee will be established to oversee the future of Jammu & Kashmir State Properties.

Any revenue generated from the sale of state properties will be allocated for the welfare of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Additionally, the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will be reviewed, with plans to transfer control to the Azad Kashmir government.

Funding for DHS in Gilgit-Baltistan will be managed in conjunction with the Ministry of Health.

The Jammu and Kashmir Refugee Rehabilitation Organization is also set for dissolution, resulting in staff reductions across various councils and offices related to Afghan refugees.
