It was reported that Justice Shah took leave due to the illness of a close relative.

As a result of his absence, the cases originally assigned to his bench, which included Justice Ayesha Malik and Justice Aqeel Abbasi, were removed from the list.

Subsequently, the cases were transferred to a two-member bench consisting of Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Ayesha Malik.

The two-member bench was scheduled to hear cases in Courtroom number 6; however, they sat briefly and then left without proceeding further.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa convened a meeting of the Practice and Procedure Committee on Tuesday, where Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was absent. Chief Justice Isa and Justice Aminuddin Khan attended the meeting.
