The court dismissed her plea due to “non-prosecution.” The court noted that despite repeated attempts, no representatives appeared on Jahangir’s behalf.

The Tohmat actress submitted a petition for pre-arrest bail in response to fraud allegations by her fellow actor, claiming the FIR against her was filed with “malafide intention” to humiliate and harass her.

The FIR, which cites Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code for cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, claims that Jahangir borrowed Haroon’s car and Rs2.5 million for a project but failed to return either after six months.

The petition argued that her arrest would lead to public humiliation, prompting her request for immediate bail.

According to Haroon, Jahangir had arranged to meet him at a farmhouse to return the car’s documents but did not attend. Instead, she allegedly sent a man named Sikandar Khan, who intimidated Haroon with threats of violence, warning him against contacting Jahangir again.

Haroon has called on law enforcement to take action, recover his belongings, and provide him with protection.

Both Jahangir and Haroon starred in the 2023 telefilm Aatish-e-Ishq alongside Saba Faisal.
