      <title>Former Senate employee booked for blasphemy in Facebook posts</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A 25-year-old man from Chichawatni has been booked for blasphemy due to his Facebook posts.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to a &lt;a href="https://www.dawn.com/news/1860486/chichawatni-man-booked-for-blasphemy-over-facebook-posts"&gt;report in Dawn&lt;/a&gt;,  the case was filed by Shamsul Hasan, an assistant sub-inspector at the Saddar Police Station, following a complaint made on Saturday night.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The individual, who previously worked for the Senate in Islamabad, was accused of posting hateful content against the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in four separate posts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The police discovered these posts while on patrol near Chak 107/12-L, where they took screenshots as evidence.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although the man’s home has been cordoned off, he remains at large and is currently underground.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;His family, including his wife and three children, have been taken into custody by the police for their safety amid rising tensions.&lt;/p&gt;
