      <title>337 security personnel, civilians killed in KP in 2023: Report</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;A report from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has revealed that 337 personnel and civilians were killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) since the beginning of this year.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The report also indicated that 616 individuals sustained injuries due to attacks by banned organizations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In Peshawar, 103 police officers were martyred and 154 injured in terrorism-related incidents. Overall, the report stated that 103 civilians lost their lives, while 159 were injured.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dera Ismail Khan reported that 63 members of security forces and police with 49 Frontier Corps personnel were killed with 49 Frontier Corps personnel killed and 124 injured this year whereas 8 law enforcement officials were martyred, with 4 others wounded.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The report also highlighted that terrorists targeted politicians, resulting in the deaths of 4 in Bajaur and North Waziristan, while 2 others were injured.&lt;/p&gt;
