In Bharuch, numerous violent incidents have been reported, with Hindu extremists, wielding sticks and iron rods, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” and attacking Muslim residents.

The attacks have resulted in injuries to women and children, and several Muslim properties, including motorcycles and other belongings, have been set ablaze.

The tension reportedly began when Hindu extremists prevented Muslims from putting up flags and banners in celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The removal of flags in some areas sparked outrage among the Muslim community.

A similar situation unfolded in Surat, where police, exhibiting blatant bias, arrested 27 Muslims instead of the Hindu extremists responsible for the violence.

This incident follows a previous attempt to target Muslims in Surat during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations two days prior, where several Muslim children were arrested on charges of attacking a Ganesh pandal.
