&lt;p&gt;Similarly, 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs1,972, closing at Rs226,337, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This surge follows Tuesday’s increase of Rs1,300, where the price settled at Rs261,700.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The international gold rate also climbed on Wednesday, reaching $2,524 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking an increase of $23 for the day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Silver prices, however, remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This latest surge surpasses the previous record high of Rs263,700 per tola, which was achieved last month.&lt;/p&gt;
