“Alhamdulillah, today it has been fifty years since the unanimous historic resolution of the Parliament was passed on the matter of protection of the end of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him),” he said in a social media post on X.

He expressed gratitude to the members of Parliament, scholars, and religious leaders who played a role in presenting and approving the motion.

“On September 7, 1974, the Parliament of Pakistan fulfilled its duty to uphold the sanctity of the Prophethood (PBUH). The belief in the finality of Prophethood (PBUH) is central to our faith and lives, and it is a principle for which we are willing to make sacrifices.”
