While speaking at a theatre performance in Karachi, which showcased a blend of reality and imagination through three interconnected stories, she highlighted the importance of evolving narratives in the industry.

The theatre play, titled “Badal Gaye Ho,” “Prologue,” and “15 Minutes,” explored themes of love, life, and genuine moments, while also delving into the realm of imagination.

Performers Khalid Ahmed, Kaif Ghaznavi, and Fawad Khan captivated the audience with their outstanding performances. The three stories were penned by renowned writer B Gul, known for her ability to tackle unique and profound subjects.

Rubina stated that theatre serves as a “vital platform” not only for artists but also for musicians, backstage crews, and audiences, providing training and development for all involved.

She urged that just as theatre embraces a variety of themes and perspectives, “there is a pressing need to introduce new ideas and depth into Pakistani dramas.”

Writer B Gul emphasised that theatre offered a unique avenue for creative freedom, which is why she chose to focus on theater over dramas this year, creating five exceptional performances.
