Students claim that the appointment system opened on May 21st, but interviews are not being scheduled for applications submitted through the normal track. It appears that only fast-track applications are being invited for interviews.

Many students have expressed concerns about the processing delays and high costs associated with the visa application process. The German Embassy’s communications section has clarified that applications from students with government scholarships or exceptional school and undergraduate results will be prioritized this year.

The German Embassy acknowledges the high number of Pakistani youth expressing interest in pursuing higher education in Germany.

The current volume of applications exceeds the embassy’s processing capacity. The embassy is working to increase its capacity for faster processing of applications.

The German Embassy has confirmed that it will prioritize scholarship holders and PhD students. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher will also be given priority.
