      <title>JCP meeting called to review rules of appointing hig court judges</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) will convene a meeting on September 13th to review the rules governing the appointment of judges to High Courts across the country.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has also written to the Chief Justices of all High Courts, requesting nominations for potential High Court judges.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The JCP meeting, chaired by CJP Isa, will be attended by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and other members. The meeting will focus on reviewing the existing rules for judge appointments.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In his letter to the High Court Chief Justices, CJP Isa emphasized the need for immediate nominations from High Courts with more than five vacant positions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also highlighted the recent completion of the Supreme Court bench after a two-and-a-half-year delay, and the activation of the Shariat Appellate Bench on July 29th.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“The paramount object is to nominate the best possible candidates,” CJP Isa wrote.&lt;/p&gt;
