Pakistan has sent invitations to all heads of state of the SCO member countries, including India.

According to Indian media, the Indian government has not yet made a decision on the invitation. There is speculation that India might send a minister instead of Prime Minister Modi to attend the conference.

It’s worth noting that the last time an Indian official visited Pakistan for the SCO summit was in 2015 when then-Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj attended the event.

The invitation comes amidst strained relations between Pakistan and India. The two countries have been engaged in a long-standing territorial dispute in Kashmir, and relations have further deteriorated in recent years.

It remains to be seen whether Prime Minister Modi will accept the invitation and attend the SCO summit in Pakistan.
