In the local Pakistani market, the price of gold per tola (a unit of weight) increased by Rs1,700, reaching Rs263,700.

The price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,457, reaching Rs226,080.

On Friday, the gold price reached Rs262,000 after gaining Rs200.

The international rate of gold also increased on Saturday, rising by $20 to $2,512 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.
