Pakistan has accepted the nomination of Muhammad Iqbal Hossain as the new Bangladeshi High Commissioner to the country.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, the experienced diplomat Muhammad Iqbal Hossain will be replacing Ambassador Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique as the Bangladeshi High Commissioner to Pakistan.

Hossain is expected to travel to Pakistan soon to take up his new role as the Bangladeshi High Commissioner.
