“The committee has been formed to look into allegations of corruption and governance issues,” Adviser to the KP CM on Information Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif said in a statement.

The panel comprises former provincial governor Shah Farman, Special Assistant to the CM on Anti-Corruption Brigadier (retd) Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi, and Advocate Qazi Anwar.

This comes after provincial minister Shakeel Khan met with Khan and complained about alleged corruption in various departments.

Barrister Saif added that the PTI chairman nominated committee members. “The committee will oversee the performance of the provincial government and monitor all departments. It will present its report to Imran Khan.”

“If the allegations are proven, action will be taken against the relevant minister or officials,” he said.
