Will it rain in Karachi today?

While Karachi will remain dry throughout the day, light rain is expected tonight, according to the Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz.

He further stated that heavier showers are anticipated in various parts of the city tomorrow, with some areas experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall.

The heavy rain spell is expected to continue across Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and the upper regions until August 7th.

Last night, Karachi experienced light rain in some areas, with recorded rainfall of 4 mm in Quaidabad, 1 mm in Kemari and Shahrah Faisal, and 0.2 mm in Gulshan-e-Muqam.

The minimum temperature in Karachi today was recorded at 28°C, with a maximum temperature expected to reach 32°C. Humidity levels are currently at 89%, and winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour.

The Met Office predicts that rainfall will continue across Sindh until August 6th. There are concerns about flooding in low-lying areas of the province due to the heavy rains.

    <iframe

The city is currently experiencing cloudy skies with occasional showers, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, some areas are still experiencing high humidity, making the actual temperature feel 6 degrees higher than the recorded temperature.
