      <title>Federal Directorate of Education announces new school timings in Islamabad</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad has announced new school timings for educational institutions in the city.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The new timings will come into effect on August 5, when schools and colleges reopen after the summer vacation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, the federal government had extended the summer break in Islamabad schools and colleges until August 4 due to the intense heat and humidity.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For single-shift institutes, the new timings will be 7:30 am to 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Morning shift: 7:30 am to 1:30 pm (Mon-Thu), 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
(Fri)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Evening shift: 2 pm to 7 pm (Mon-Thu), 2:30 pm to 7 pm (Fri), with no break time&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Additionally, the timings for Pre-I (Montessori/Prep) classes have been set from 8 am to 12 pm, Monday to Friday. Ex-F.G. Colleges will have classes from 8:30 am to 2 pm and 4 pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now, the FDE has announced the new school timings, which will be implemented starting August 5.&lt;/p&gt;
