&lt;p&gt;He has forecasted that the monsoon system was likely to affect Sindh from July 29 and “there is a possibility of rain in Karachi by the afternoon or night of Monday.”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The monsoon spell was expected to last until July 31, the chief meteorologist said and added that moderate to heavy rainfall was likely at various locations in the city during this period.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sardar stated that the chances of “good rainfall in Karachi are higher” in August compared to July.&lt;/p&gt;
