The Karachi police have issued the traffic plan for Muharram 8 (Monday), 9 (Tuesday), and 10 (Wednesday) to facilitate the smooth movement of the procession as the government tightens security to ensure law and order during the three days.

According to the plan, small or large vehicles would not be allowed to enter the procession route from Gurumandir Chowk. All traffic would be diverted towards Bahadur Yar Jung Road and Soldier Bazaar.

“Entry of all vehicles will be prohibited on MA Jinnah Road,” it said and added that only vehicles with windscreen stickers would be allowed to join the procession.
