      <title>Justice Aalia Neelum appointed CJ LHC</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Justice Aalia Neelum has been officially appointed as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, while Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui will serve as the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The oath-taking ceremony for Justice Aalia Neelum will be held on Thursday at the Governor’s House in Lahore, where Governor Salim Haider will administer the oath.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Ministry of Law and Justice issued notifications for the appointments of the Chief Justices of both courts after receiving approval from President Asif Ali Zardari.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Both names were approved by the Supreme Judicial Commission and the Parliamentary Committee on Judges’ Appointment.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Upon taking the oath of office, Justice Aalia Neelum will assume her duties as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Justice Aalia Neelum was born in 1966 and obtained her law degree from Punjab University Law College in 1995. She holds other law diplomas as well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Justice Aalia Neelum registered as a lawyer in 1996, became a High Court lawyer in 1998, and a Supreme Court lawyer in 2008. She has practiced in various fields, including constitutional, civil, criminal, and anti-terrorism law.&lt;/p&gt;
