This was decided during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Deputy Speaker of the New York State Assembly, Phil Ramos, in Islamabad.

The Deputy Speaker acknowledged the shortage of qualified nurses in the US and highlighted Pakistan’s significant potential in this area.

Minister Naqvi assured that urgent steps will be taken to facilitate the deployment of qualified Pakistani nurses to New York.

The Interior Minister also said there are ample opportunities for collaboration between Pakistan and the US in the fields of education, healthcare, and economic development.

Referring to his recent visit to New York, Naqvi mentioned that positive discussions were held between the Islamabad Police and the New York Police Department to enhance cooperation.

He stated that a delegation from the Islamabad Police will soon visit New York.
