      <title>Police arrest 40 people involved in Swat lynching incident</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Authorities have decided to launch a large-scale operation to apprehend those involved in the Swat lynching incident, with 40 people already being arrested.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to sources, police is using videos of the incident to make the arrests.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Police has already arrested four people on on Saturday from Swat, including two brothers. More arrests are expected soon.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A mob had lynched a man and set him on fire after he was suspected of desecrating the Holy Quran in a Swat hospital. The mob had also set fire to a police station.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A case regarding the incident has already been filed incuding terrorism clauses.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The man, who was identified as S*, a resident of Sialkot city, had informed the hotel management about it. The management informed the police and also started to force open the room’s door.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He opened the door. When asked, he “denied” desecrating the Quran. Police arrived and took him away to the station where they were “marooned.” He was detained for at least 30 to 40 minutes.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The blasphemy accused reiterated that he did not desecrate the holy book.&lt;/p&gt;
