      <title>Balochistan presents surplus budget of Rs955 billion</title>

&lt;p&gt;While presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25, Balochistan Finance Minister Shoaib Nausherwani said that the government has presented a surplus budget instead of a deficit.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the new fiscal year, the volume of non-development expenditures is Rs564 billion while the development budget is over Rs219 billion rupees. Priority has been given to the sectors of education, health, and law and order.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A 25% increase in government employees’ salaries and a 15% increase in pensions have been proposed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The finance minister revealed that Rs9.146 billion has been allocated for the education sector. The total education budget of the province is over 12%, and 535 new positions will be created. Additionally, Rs4.8 billion has been set aside to resolve the financial crisis of the province’s eleven universities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nawsherwani stated that 242 new positions will be created in the health sector, and Rs67 billion have been allocated for the health sector.&lt;/p&gt;
