According to the police, the deceased, Nawaz, injured his brother Asad and father Rafiq after a knife attack. In retaliation, Asad opened fire, killing Nawaz.

DSP Syed Ishtiaaq Gillani stated that the body had been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem examination and efforts are under way to arrest the accused.

“The actual facts will emerge once the investigation and the arrest of the suspect are completed,” DSP Gillani said.
