      <title>Budget 2024-25: Salaries, pensions and minimum wage increased</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb announced increase in salary and pensions for government employees in the budget 2024-25 on Wednesday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The minimum wage has also been raised to Rs37,000.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In addition, the salaries of govt employees from grades 1-16 have been raised by 25% while salaries for grades 17-22 have been raised by 20%.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In addition, the pensions of government employees have been raised by 15%.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, the federal government had approved upto 25% increase in salaries.&lt;/p&gt;
