His statement went viral after some of the clips of the interview were re-shared on social media.

“I spent 24 years with Imran Khan at the Shaukat Khanum [hospital],” the actor said while speaking about his bond with the cricketer-turned-politician.

He added that Khan’s party entry was banned in Karachi from 2007 to 2008 because of criticising MQM founder Altaf Hussain.

Sabzwari added that Khan was not “flexible” as he admitted agreeing with the former prime minister’s views about the Karachi-based party.

“The other allegation against him [Khan] is that he takes cocaine, I have drunk alcohol with him several times but Khan Sahib never had more than one drink,” he said.

It merits here to mention that the FHM removed the video from YouTube within 24 hours of uploading it.

This is not the first time Sabzwari’s comments have been making rounds on social media. His views about women on motorcycles during an interview with Nadir Ali’s podcast drew the ire of many people.
