According to the PCRF, Nicola Coughlan’s fundraising campaign attracted donations from 82,794 contributors, including the actress herself.

The PCRF has stated that the outpouring of global support allowed the organisation to provide food, water, clothing, medical care, and other critical aid to children in the Middle East region.

Coughlan’s fundraising and advocacy efforts for the Fund have been widely appreciated by pro-Palestine supporters online.

“I’m doing my dream job and I’m getting to travel the world, but then I’m hyper-aware of what’s happening in Rafah at the moment,” she said in an interview with USA Today.

“I wear the Artists for Ceasefire pin because I am privileged,” she said.

Coughlan has shared that her father was previously part of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation, a peacekeeping force that worked towards establishing peace in the Middle East.

Furthermore, she confirmed that her family lived in Jerusalem in the late 1970s, which appears to have influenced her personal connection and commitment to the region.

Bridgeton actor has an ongoing fundraiser on her Instagram for Medical Aid for Palestine, and she has encouraged people to donate or share the fundraiser, as she believes this would be a valuable contribution.
