      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has warned that the temperature is expected to surpass the 40-degree mark in Karachi in the next three.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“The mercury is likely to increase to 40°C or 42°C in Karachi on May 29, May 30, and May 31 as the sea breeze would remain suspended,” he told &lt;em&gt;Aaj News&lt;/em&gt; on Monday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Heatwave conditions are prevailing in Sindh and many parts of Balochistan as the provincial government has urged people to keep themselves hydrated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier this month, the PMD warned that Punjab and Sindh were likely to swelter next week because of the high pressure in the upper atmosphere.&lt;/p&gt;
