According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Hockey Team visited General Headquarters (GHQ) where Army Chief General Asim Munir welcomed the team.

On this occasion, the Pakistan Hockey Team had a meeting with the Army Chief, and President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Tariq Hussain, and other officials were also present.

According to ISPR, the Army Chief praised the national hockey team for their remarkable performance and expressed good wishes for the future of the players.

The Army Chief stated that the hockey team has made the nation proud with their performance and assured them of every possible cooperation for their continued success.

According to ISPR, President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Tariq Hussain, expressed gratitude to Army Chief General Asim Munir for the meeting and discussion with the team.
