According to the police report, Naib Muharrar Sohaib Virk managed to save his life by taking cover under a table.

The report further states that Virk instructed Sub-Inspector Shahid Ghaus to perform duties at the High Court, which led to Ghaus losing control.

He stormed into a room, retrieved a pistol, and fired at Virk.

The Thana Sabzi Mandi Police immediately took both Ghaus and Virk into custody.

According to police, the incident has been relayed to higher officials and action will be taken in due course..
