In a statement, the police declared the evidence obtained as sufficient for the investigation. They have claimed that suspects made important revelations during an investigation into the cases registered related to May 9.

Several people attacked state buildings and military installations when Khan was arrested in a graft case last year. The police arrested many people in a crackdown on supporters of PTI.

Fawad, who is now part of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party after quitting the PTI, would be investigated in light of the evidence of inciting people to vandalism, the police said.
