The youth, who has been indentified as Abu Bakar, was travelling with his friend on a motorcycle in Chandowal on Thursday when a police vehicle hit him, leading to his death.

According to the DPO, the vehicle was travelling to Kartarpur for Maryam’s security.

Abu Bakar’s friend remained safe in the accident.

The police has registered the FIR for the incident and is investigating details. The DPO vowed to punish whoever was found responsible.
