Taking it on his official handle on X he wrote, “Good news for the people of Sindh. Under the direction of Chairman @BBhuttoZardari, the Transport Department is going to start new transport projects in Sindh right after the Eid Holidays.”

The minister listed a host of targets that his department plans to achieve.

In the post, Memon said the second phase of the Women’s Pink Bus service will be launched after Eid ul Fitr.

He further stated that new routes of EV buses and Peoples Bus Service shall be introduced in Karachi and Mirpur khas.

The minister said that the People’s Bus Service will start a free-of-cost shuttle service between Orange Line BRT and Green Line BRT.

The minister also hinted that the government will be adding five hundred buses soon to the existing fleet of People’s Bus Service.

Last year in October 2023, Memon welcomed new buses for Karachi Peoples Bus project.
