      <title>Punjab govt announces Eid holidays</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Punjab government has announced holidays for Eid ul Fitr in the province.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to a notification issued by the Welfare department with the approval of the chief secretary, the holidays will begin on Wednesday, April 10.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The holidays will be scheduled differently according to how many days the offices work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For offices working five days a week, the holidays will last till Friday, April 12. Meanwhile, the oldiays will last till April 13 for offices working six days a week.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The holidays announced by the Punjab government are exactly the same as the schedule announced by the federal government on Thursday.&lt;/p&gt;
