&lt;p&gt;The man, identified as Hamid Ali, was severely injured by dacoits after being shot in Shadman Town.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to Ali’s brother, onlookers refused to help the bleeding man until a rickshaw driver took him to the hospital.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, Ali succumbed to his wounds and did not survive.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hamid Ali had retired after working in a security company and was now associated catering and construction. He lived in North Karachi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He leaves behind four children&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At least 51 people have killed in street crime and related incidents since the beginning of this year in Karachi.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Karachi’s citizens and traders staged a protest at the Super Highway over the rising crime in the city. The road blockage caused massive traffic buildups on both sides of the road.&lt;/p&gt;
