A man has been arrested by police in Karachi for groping a woman in broad daylight.

The man was arrested after a CCTV video of the incident emerged on social media and was also picked up by news channels.

The incident took place in Pak Colony in Karachi, where a woman was walking down a deserted street.

The culprit approached the woman from behind, roped her and escaped.

The man is shown in the video to be wearing a blue t-shirt and cap. He also has a beard.

Police managed to track down the man and arrest him with the help of the video.

However, authorities are still waiting for the woman to come forward so a complaint can be formally filed.
