      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The northern and north western parts of the country are once again in the the grip of a cold wave after rain and snowfall in the early hours of Wednesday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Peshawar and Mansehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recevied heavy rainfall, ending the dry spell in the cities and adjoining areas.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Heavy snowfall was recorded in Kaghan valley while Balakot received a hailstorm, drastically lowering temperatures in the area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Temperatures can drop as low as 13 degrees in GB while KP will experience temperatures around 20 degrees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the Met Office, Chitral, Kalam and Upper Dir received the most rainfall in the last 24 hours. Hunza and Astore in GB and Muzaffarabad in AJK also received sizable rainfall.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Leepa Valley, Neelum Valley and Jhelum Valley could also face the risk of landsliding due to increased surface runoff due to rain and snow.&lt;/p&gt;
