      <title>Rain lowers temperatures in Islamabad and KP</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Light rain in Islamabad in the early hours of Friday lowered temperatures after a dry warm spell.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Temperatures are expected to hover between 25 and 27 degrees in the capital. However, the rain is not expected to persist over the next two days.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Upper areas of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Murree, Chakwal and Jhelum also received rain bringing respite from the continuously rising temperatures.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haripur, Abbottabad, Swat, Chitral, Dir and Malam Jabba received rain while upper altitude areas can receive snow later in the day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The rain brought down temperatures considerably in the province, with the lowest being 10 degrees recorded in Dir and Malam Jabba.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Gilgit, Astore and Hunza in GB and Muzaffarabad and Rawlakot in AJK are expected to receive rain and snow thruoghout the day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Meanwhile, weather in Sindh and Balochistan is expected to remain hot and dry with temperatures rising as far as mid-30 degrees.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In Karachi, the temperature is expected to remain between 34-36 degrees Celsius while in Sukkur temperatures can soar as high as 39 degrees.&lt;/p&gt;
