Network Rail has removed all the Ramadan-related messages from London King’s Cross train station’s departures board after receiving complaints from people.

The message was displayed on Tuesday the ninth day of Ramadan and attracted both complaints and praise from people.

The message quoted the Prophet’s saying, “All the sons of Adam are sinners but best of the sinners are those who repent it often.”

Network Rail announced that general Ramadan celebratory messages were not on display.

The department said the sign should not have been on the main train departure board and only should be used for exhibiting train information.
