&lt;p&gt;Judge Adnan Liaquat announced the verdict on a case filed by the wife of the man identified as Muhammad Aurangzeb.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Barrister Usmanji Rashid Cheema represented the petitioner in the case where the court found the man guilty of the charge.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the verdict, Judge Liaquat said that the husband violated the law which required him to ask for consent from his first wife for remarrying.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The accused was not permitted to remarry without the consent of the first wife and was found in violation of Section 6 (5) of the Muslim Family Law Ordinance, the court’s judgement read.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Consequently, the court handed Aurangzeb a seven-month jail sentence and a Rs500,000 fine.&lt;/p&gt;
