Neighbours informed the police after foul smell from the flat. The deceased Chinese national was identified as Chin Shin, according to initial reports.

He was purportedly living in the same flat since 2020 and was an online marketing professional. But the visa on his passport carried the Jan 12, 2023 as the date of issue. He was granted a 10-year visa to Pakistan.

Upon receiving the information, police broke the door to enter the house and found the body. Police added that it looked a natural death, but a post-mortem examination on the body would reveal the actual cause of death.
