A third police personnel was wounded.

Police said on the night between Monday and Tuesday a group of terrorists attacked policemen in Machni Gate.

The attack left two policemen martyred and one injured.

A heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene and moved the bodies and the injured to hospital.

Police officials told journalists that terrorists had staged an ambush.

Terrorists fled from the scene after the attack.
