      <title>Ramazan moon sighted in Pakistan, fasting begins tomorrow</title>

&lt;p&gt;The crescent moon was sighted in Lahore and Peshawar as Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad officially announced the beginning of the holy month.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Maulana Azad presided over a meeting in Peshawar convened for the Ramazan moon sighting of Hijri year 1445.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, Maulana Azad expressed hopes that the holy month begins on the same day throughout the country.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He also called on Pakistanis to look for the Ramazan moon tomorrow evening.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The sighting of crescent marks the beginning of the month in the Islamic Hijri calendar.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to the Saudi Supreme Court, the crescent was spotted on Sunday evening, marking the last day of Sha’ban month.&lt;/p&gt;
