Shehbaz began his speech wearing earphones to drown out the slogans, loudly enunciating his words with enthusiastic gestures of the hand. His own party’s workers formed a protective ring around him.

However, perhaps out of the pressure, or perhaps in a freudian slip, he forgot to refer to himself with his correct post.

Mentioning his allied parties in the beginning of his speech, Shehbaz thanked them for getting him elected as the ‘opposition leader of the house’.

Someone next to Shehbaz belatedly corrected him that he was in fact the leader of the house.

However, Shehbaz, insulated by the headphones, went about his speech uniterrupted.
